convocation.
i very much enjoyed convocation, partly cos everyone’s looking so happy and happily snapping away pictures. i thought the conovcation itself would be quite boring but the speeches made today were funny and lightheartening~ and there’re a few graduates who made all sorts of moves LOL. seriously. plus a music performance by the Yong Siew Toh graduates. what a bonus, graduating with the music majors! oOOo and the balloons falling part… it felt so liberating! ahahs and i congratulated the people on my left and right =D. you would keep hearing people popping the balloons…an ah ma even got frightened (but really excited) @ the sound of popping balloons made by her daughter/ daughter-in-law lols.
and of course there’re friends who came all the way just to see you. thanks friends for blocking your schedule and making your way to NUS. it’s a drag coming to NUS, everyone knows lols. And i’ m glad they did =DD.
and my parents who only got this chance to witness a graduation ceremony (PAP kindergarten no count) and who helped carry my bags~~ ThaNKS~.
so now, officially not being a student..there’re a few things i won’t get to have. my ez link is not going to be personalized with a photo stuck on it. my computer needs a new anti-virus cos i’ve been leeching off the school’s. there’re no more student meals special (unless u keep feigning till u’re too old to pretend). and yes, u don’t tink about what modules to take, S/U and exams anymore (good and bad). u get to see real challenges in life. u’ll start feeling old & adultish. i’ve seen it happening to my colleagues lolsss.
SO HAPPY GRADUATION DAY!!
